The Center for Community-Based Enterprise (C2BE) is building community wealth as the go-to

organization for creating worker-owned businesses in Detroit.   We assist existing companie to maintain their legacy by selling to their workers.  We help emerging entrepreneurs create cooperatively run enterprises.  C2BE is still committed to sustaining the rich fabric of our communities and maintaining legacies by establishing more worker-owned enterprises. With changing demographics in Detroit and increased propensity for gentrification in many beloved neighborhoods we are focusing on transforming the entrepreneurial landscape and creating more Black- and Brown- worker-owned and democratically run businesses in Detroit.
