The Detroit People’s Food Co-op, which has recently celebrated the groundbreaking for their Detroit Food Commons, wants you to become a co-op member of their community-owned grocer. By becoming a member-owner, you are improving community access to fresh and healthy food, investing in African-American led community development, and afforded member opportunities and discounts! C2BE is dedicated to supporting this effort to contribute to a cooperative economy rooted in justice and equity. Currently, the Detroit People's Food Cooperative has 1,164 member-owners [with a goal of 2,000]. Lifetime membership costs $200 and can be paid in full or in 10 easy installments!
